The Kerala born actor Kalabhavan Mani is well known for his versatility as an actor. The National award winning actor starred in almost 200 films. Not only in Malayalam, he acted in Tamil and Telugu films as well. He passed away on 6th March, 2016 due to liver failure.
Kalabhavan Mani was born on 1 January 1971. He started off his career as a mimicry artist. His first leading role was in the film, Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njaanum and his first music album was, Kannimanga Prayathil. He released religious songs, folk songs and at the same time played comic characters in the Malayalam films. Later, he started playing negative roles. Gradually, he became famous with his negative characters all across South India creating a different aura of his own.
His sudden death took his fans and relatives by surprise. The case was investigated by the Kochi police. His autopsy report suggested that he dies due to bad liver condition which stopped functioning before he was brought to the hospital. Four months before his death, doctors asked him to avoid alcohol but he did not pay heed to that which took his life.
